The Blogger Recognition Award – Nominations

Blogger Recognition

I am so excited to be nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award. I started my blog less than a month ago, so you can imagine how big of a deal this is to me:-).

First of all, I would like to thank to beautiful Lindsay behind Millennial Mindset blog for nominating me. Her motto is ‘Life is only as good as your mindset.’ which I absolutely agree with. I really recommend you to go and read her blog posts about her experience in going vegan for 30 days and some great tips for 10-day detox and why our body needs it. Thank you again for this nomination!

How I started One Point of View?

I wrote before about why I started this blog. One of the reasons were my friends who convinced me that I need to share with the world the way I think about life. How we can all make it easier and more beautiful and how to deal with difficulties in our lives. The other reason was my 3 beautiful children. See, I truly believe that we can all accomplish everything we want. If we really make an effort in achieving the goal we’ve set and don’t give up on our way there, only the sky is our limit. I want to pass that on to my kids and to do that, I need to set an example and not just talk about it.

Advice to aspiring bloggers

Before I launched One Point of View, I researched about blogging, marketing, social media and everything else in this field for about 6 months. I would recommend everybody to do that, because once you start, it can get overwhelming and this research really helped.

There will be times when you will think ‘Is this for me? Am I good enough?’. So always remember why you started, it will keep you going.

My last advice might be the most important one – when it’s needed, imagine you’re working for someone else. Sometimes, when I want to publish something about me and I’m worried how it might look or if I want to ask someone a question I think that person might find it silly, I imagine I have a boss who told me to do that and suddenly it all looks easier😊. This might seem funny to you, but try it, you’ll see it works. I received the best feedback after these ‘brave’ actions.

Well, that’s all about me, folks! Here comes the fun part!

I have chosen 10 wonderful bloggers whose work I really value. Each one inspires me to keep going.

So, the nominees for the Blogger Recognition Award are:

  3. Congratulations! You have a beautiful blog after only one month. You can really be proud of your achievements. I wish you the best for what’s coming up 😀
By the way, I really liked your last advice. I should try that sometimes. Most of my personal posts have been in the draft folder for months. I’m thinking that’s what blogging is about and I even find less interesting blogs that are too formal and impersonal. Still, it’s a hard exercise to publish personal feelings or experiences!

    1. Thank you so much, Eloise! You are very kind. My last advice is really what gives me the courage to do something that is out of my comfort zone:-). And they say that positive changes happen when you get out of your comfort zone. So I decided to listen to those smart people😂.

  4. Very cool concept, I am going to have to think of the top ten bloggers who inspire me. Great post.

  5. Congratulations! How far you have come in such a short space of time is brilliant! I wish you the best of luck!

  6. Congrats and welcome to blogging. I’ve been doing it for more than 7 years now and I love it! Keep up the good work!

  7. Oh my gosh, congratulations to you. I’m somewhat new myself. I’m about 5 months in. I received an award similar to this about a month in as well! Yes, it is tough and a lot of hard word but if it is your passion, you’ll be in it for the long haul! I wish you continued success!!!

  8. Congratulations on being nominated for this award.I loved your last advice- it is not easy to work from home. Every time I feel too lazy to work, I imagine working for someone else and it becomes easier to meet deadlines!

  9. Congratulations on being nominated, you indeed have a lovely blog and I can relate it so much working from home Hope to read the ones you have shared soon:).

  10. I love your advice about remembering why you started. I’ve been blogging for five years now and whenever I’m feeling ‘eh about it, I always remember I want to leave something for my kids to remember me by. Also, can’t wait to check some of the other blogs you mentioned. The only one I’m familiar with is Five Little Doves, and Laura’s writing is absolutely beautiful! x

    1. That is a good reason to keep you motivated! I love your work! Your recipes and pictures you share are wonderful!

  11. Well done on the nomination you seem to have come very far in your first month. I do agree it’s best to do some sort of research before jumping into creating a blog x

  12. Congratualations! I like your advice on imagining you are writing for someone else! Good luck for the future, blogging is fun!

  13. First of all, congratulations for completing one month of blogging and for wining this award! Like they say, the first month is the most difficult time! Also, it’s great to know you have done enough research on blogging before taking the plunge and it definitely shows in the quality of your blog. It looks so much more professional and pretty for a new blog!
All the best in your blogging journey!
    Thanks for sharing.
Do drop by my blog as well : 🙂

  14. Congratulation dear!! Good to know, you have been nominated. It seems like you have put a lot of efforts in your first month of blogging to receive such an award. And your sites looks fab because of that. Best wishes for the future.

  15. Congrats on the blogger award. I love reading these and finding out cool things about the recipients.

  16. Congrats on the nomination! I love that your blog focuses on self-care and mental health. This year, I’ve been trying very hard to consciously put myself first and take care of my own mental health so it’s great to see others with a similar mindset!

  17. Congratulations on the award. I love this post so much. I actually had a fellow blogger tell me what I can and cannot publish on my site. And this blogger barely blogs as at- I agree with you, blog what you feel and what you want.
